History:
I have been taking digital pictures since i bought a 1.3 MP Olympus in 1999. In 2006 I started thinking about getting a new camera. After over 1 year of reading I finally got the dream machine - a Nikon D300 on day 1 when it was released to the public (Nov 21 2007).


Current equipment:

Nikon D300 with MB-D10 Grip (running 8x Eneloop) and a 8GB 300x Lexar inside.
18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR IF-ED Nikon
50mm f/1.8 D later G AF Nikon
35mm f/1.8G AF Nikon
24mm f/2.8D AF Nikon (sold)
SB-800 AF Speedlight (running 5x PowerEx 2700 mAH NiMH)
Gitzo 1228 Mountaineer Carbon Fiber Tripod with a Markins M10 Ballhead and RRS QR clamp.
Lightsphere II, rocket blower ;), 4gb Sandisk II CF - all in a KATA R-101 Backpack.
I use Lightroom 2.0 for photo managment and Photoshop CS4 for post-processing on a decent dektop with a calibrated monitor.

I currently shoot a mirrorless Olympus OM-D EM5 and so far am loving it.
I got a M. Zuiko Digital ED 45mm f/1.8 and the Olympus 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 ED M.Zuiko EZ kit Lens (x2 crop factor for micro four thirds).
Just added the amazing Panasonic Leica 25mm f/1.4 and it almost always stays on the camera. Occasionally i pull out the Olympus FL-50R to add some flash light.
